UNITS Mobile Storage Donates Container To Fire-Stricken Family
Portable Storage Company is Active in Community Charitable Causes.
- Milwaukee-Waukesha, WI (1888PressRelease) May 14, 2011 - On April 21st, a devastating fire ravaged the home of a West Bend family, leaving it uninhabitable. One witness claimed that there was "not much left" of the house after fire fighters extinguished the blaze. Local residents, including classmates of the affected children, took immediate action and began collecting funds to benefit the family.
To aid in salvaging what possessions weren't damaged or completely destroyed by the fire, UNITS Mobile Storage of Milwaukee donated one of their 8'x8'x16' steel-framed, fiberglass storage containers to the property the very same day. The unit will completely protect what remains of the family's cherished belongings from the rainy Wisconsin spring season, as they struggle to recuperate from this tragic turn of events.
Milwaukee UNITS Owner Janelle Larson is always on the lookout for non-profit organizations in need of on-site storage. But when this opportunity arose to help an individual family in need, the decision was a quick and easy one.
"We're locally owned and operated," said Janelle, "and we feel a sense of pride and responsibility towards the community that sustains us. It's critical to our success to give back whenever possible by supporting local non-profit and charitable causes."
