Unique Horror Movie Holds Unique Fundraiser - Kickstarter & Raffel
Indie filmmaker, Jeremy Wechter, using the popular Kickstarter platform and unique online raffle to encourage donations for his micro budget, feature-length, supernatural horror movie, Evil Alive.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) October 05, 2012 - New York City filmmaker, theater director, film teacher and screenplay consultant Jeremy Wechter launches a fundraiser that combines an online raffle in conjunction with a Kickstarter campaign for his micro-budget, feature-length, supernatural horror movie EVIL ALIVE.
The EVIL ALIVE fundraiser launched on September 26th and runs until midnight on Halloween, October 31st. With the support of almost 900 Twitter followers and 500 Facebook fans, the EVIL ALIVE Kickstarter campaign is steadily moving ahead. For every $10 supporters donate to the EVIL ALIVE Kickstarter campaign, they get another entry into the EVIL ALIVE online raffle fundraiser.

ABOUT JEREMY WECHTER
Jeremy Wechter, the writer/director of EVIL ALIVE, is best known for directing the celebrated Off-Broadway musical comedy Little House on the Ferry and his screenplay consulting service Script Weaver. Jeremy also teaches moviemaking at The Cinema School, 3rd Ward Art Center and New York Film Academy.

EVIL ALIVE is a frightening tale of demonic possession that plays on our primal fears and takes us on an entertaining, heart-pounding roller-coaster ride. Kendra, AJ, Mar and Dwayne are old college friends who find themselves growing apart. Attempting to hang on to their good old college days, the gang gets together for a night of stories, pranks and lots of beer. As their fun evening progresses, they unknowingly release a deviously clever, manipulative demon that had been trapped for centuries in Salem. The night takes a terrifying turn as the group of friends must determine what is real and who they can trust in order to survive the demon's malevolent purpose.
