UNEDA Announces Dates And Location For European Conference
UNEDA announces location for the 2010 European Conference.
- (1888PressRelease) November 16, 2010 - The United Network Equipment Dealer Association (UNEDA), an alliance of more than 300 pre-owned network equipment dealers worldwide, has announced Rome, Italy will host the European Fall meeting on October 15-16, 2010.
Matthew Archer, Managing Director of International Computer Products (Manchester, UK) made the announcement to the general membership via electronic mail. Archer stated, "The UNEDA Board of Directors are very pleased to announce our Fall 2010 conference location. Following several months of research, and thoughtful discussions we are pleased to say Rome has been selected. It is our hope that with the beauty, architecture, and a pinch of inspiration from its great historical Roman senate, we will be led to an informative and knowledgeable discussion of matters which effect UNEDA and our business community as a whole".
Part of UNEDA's strategy relies on bringing the Association to markets where UNEDA's physical presence is not as strong. The UNEDA Board President, John Stafford of Vology Data Systems (Tampa, FL), stated, "Over the last five years, we have travelled to some of Europe's finest cities to meet up with our European members in order to discuss both current issues along with continually tweaking our overall direction".
"These yearly meetings enable us to continue the fraternal aspects of UNEDA by allowing our European brethren a closer commute along with getting better insight into the innermost workings of our industry overseas" Stafford continued. The conference will take place in the heart of the Eternal City at the Marriott Gran Hotel Flor Roma. It is advised all members make their bookings as early as possible to allay transport and logistical delays.
The European conference serves as a platform for the continental members to express the challenges facing the used IT industry as well give them networking opportunities with their colleagues from USA and Asia/Pacific.
