- (1888PressRelease) April 26, 2023 - We are excited to share with you some updates on our latest project, which involves the delivery of two 12-meter-long Transport Rigid Inflatable Boats to the UN’s World Food Programme in Congo. These boats are equipped with 3 powerful Mercury Verado F350HP Outboard Engines and have 4 heavy-duty lifting points.
These transport boats, which have a total fuel capacity of 900 liters divided among 3 fuel tanks, are designed to handle difficult missions and harsh environments. Additionally, they have a variety of cutting-edge Garmin navigation and communication systems, including the GPSMAP 923, GMR 18HD+, Blue Chart G2 Vision, in-hull mount transducer, and AIS 800.
The first boat has 14 Ullman suspension seats and can accommodate up to 14 seated passengers, while the second boat has 2 Ullman suspension seats and 6 bench seats. The second boat can accommodate 24 people, with a capacity of 4 passengers per bench.
These boats are not only strong and adaptable, but they will serve a very significant purpose. They will be used by the UN’s World Food Programme to aid in humanitarian efforts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, ensuring that essential help and supplies can get to communities in need, especially those in remote and difficult-to-reach areas.
We are proud to be a part of this project as a boat manufacturer, and we think that these boats will have a big impact on the lives of those who need them the most. We anticipate supporting initiatives like these in the future and are eager to see them in action.
