Fort Wayne, IN (1888PressRelease) September 26, 2012 - Military Sealift Command (MSC) is the seagoing replenishment and military transport capability for the United States Armed Forces. Frequently, those voyages take MSC vessels through hostile and dangerous waters. With the HS-18, MSC will have the ability to send clear and intelligible voice messages over 1500 meters. Loud and intelligible communications is critical to determining intent of incoming water-borne targets and de-escalating determination of hostile intent during critical situations.
