Cain Velasquez is an undefeated mixed martial artist born on July 28, 1982. He is the first Mexican American Heavyweight Champion of any Combat Sport. He is the current UFC heavyweight Champion. Before turning pro in MMA last 2006, Cain Velasquez was a former Division I All-American wrestler. His MMA record is 9-0. Though the Velasquez - Dos Santos fight was ironed out several months earlier, an injury of the champion delayed the fight. According to Fox executive Eric Shanks the live fight of Velasquez and Dos Santos be a short one, because of the knockout power of each fighter. Because of this, they are planning to air other longer fights before the Velasquez - Dos Santos bout.
