Ubuntu Photography Competition 2016
On the occasion of World Tourism Day,Ubuntu Welfare Society is organizing photography competition.
- (1888PressRelease) September 14, 2016 - The competition is focused on creating awareness on Eco-friendly & green tourism. On September 27th, 2016 all the entries will be exhibited in PritamlalDuaArt Gallery, Indore MP.
THEME
Madhya Pradesh is all about its heritage & archeological sites, wildlife territories, pilgrimage centers, leisure & business centers & the rich classical, folk & tribal culture. So, the aim of this competition is to capture the Art & Culture, City escapes and Wildlife exists in the 'heart of India'.
Art & Culture:Fairs & festivals, dance forms, art, tribal-art, out-fits, folk & tribal activities,
City escapes:The visual appearance of a town/city or urban area; highlighting skyline & profile of town/city.
Wildlife: MP is home to 9 national parks & 20 natural preserves; photographs should reflect the flora & fauna of the region. Like landscapes of natural parks, animals, birds etc.
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open for all, divided into two categories Professionals & Students. At the time of registration students will be required to present their College/School IDs.
FEE
The registration fee for Professionals is INR 200/- & for Students is INR 100/-.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
• Three number of photographs/entries will be allowed per registration, caption with every photograph will be appreciated
• A Unique Registration Number (UNR) will be provided to every participant
• The submission will be entertained till 8:00 PM September 22nd, 2016
• The photographs should be minimum of 1800 pixels on the longer side (minimum 300 DPI in resolution) and the maximum file size should not exceed 3 MB
• The photograph entries should be submitted electronically; i.e., on info.ubuntuorg ( @ ) gmail dot com
AWARD
The award ceremony will happen on September 25th, 2016 at Indore Press Club, MG Road, Indore. The 6 best entries in each category (Professional & Student separately) will be awarded with memento & remaining with certificate of participation& appreciation.
