UAV Investments: Indian Armed Forces to Address Future Plans and Programmes for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

  • (1888PressRelease) May 27, 2011 - Singapore - India's interest in VTOL, MALE and UCAV not only confirms the value of these aircrafts as a priority for the country, but also introduces the need for an information-sharing platform regarding India's future plans and programmes with unmanned aerial vehicles.

    For this reason, the Indian Armed Forces are providing support to Defence IQ for the forthcoming, inaugural UAV India 2011 conference, taking place 5th-7th September in New Delhi, India. Senior-level speakers of the Indian Army and the Indian Defence Research and Development Organisation include:

    As one of the emerging markets for unmanned aerial vehicles, India has opened its doors for international military and industry members to gain essential insight into the country's UAV acquisition programmes, as well as hear from international leaders on advances in the UAV platform and payload technologies.
