U.S. Bankcard Services, Inc. (USBSI) Sets Goal to Donate $10,000 to Support Pediatric Brain Tumor Research
Leading nationwide Merchant Services Provider and credit card machine seller U.S. Bankcard Services, Inc. (USBSI) pledges to contribute up to $10,000 to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, and invites others to help donate by becoming USBSI's Facebook Fan.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) February 18, 2011 - In September 2009, U.S. Bankcard Services, Inc. (USBSI) donated $5,000 to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. This year, the leading nationwide Merchant Service Provider and vendor of credit card machines plans to double their efforts for this noble cause by setting a goal to donate up to $10,000. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation is the leading nonprofit source of funding for pediatric brain tumor research outside of the U.S. government and USBSI is proud to support this organization and help children afflicted with brain tumors.
USBSI is also providing a way for everyone to help donate. USBSI wants to raise awareness of brain tumors by asking fans to share the company's Facebook Page (login to your Facebook account and use keyword "USBSI" to search for the "U.S. Bankcard Services, Inc." Page), and post stories of hope about children they know who are brain tumor survivors. USBSI has pledged to donate $1 for every person who adds them as a fan on their Facebook Page between February 1st and April 30th 2011, up to $10,000.
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation has been working to help children afflicted with brain tumors since 1991. With significant funding and support from companies like USBSI, the foundation has been able to increase public awareness about pediatric brain tumors. The foundation is working hard to eradicate devastating childhood brain cancers that once had ineffective treatments, and almost always cut a young life short. The funds raised are used for research to help combat pediatric brain tumors and to help find a cure.
