- (1888PressRelease) November 14, 2010 - TY Low Productions, a New Jersey theater company, is preparing another uplifting play for spectators. This coming December 17 and 18, TY Low's talented performers will present "For the Love of Money" - a much-awaited theatrical about members of a faithful God-fearing family whose lives are about to change after winning the lottery.
"For the Love of Money" will be a comedy yet enlightening source of hope, encouragement, and a message about how money can take over your life. The show expected to be another entertaining and inspiring production that will live up to Ty Low Productions' mission of "Changing Lives, One Play at a Time".
The interesting storyline of "For the Love of Money" focuses on spouses Kimberly and Samuel Cartwright who enjoyed simple yet peaceful lives until Sam's ex convict brother, Steven, stayed with them. Not only that Steven was troubled in securing employment, but he was also devastated with an impending separation from his wife. The couple decided to welcome Steven into their homes for 60 days so that he can begin rebuilding his life. Steven was already behind this deadline when he asked from Sam a $20 bill - the winning gamble money. Fearful that his wife will extort him, Steven trusted Kim and Sam to be his money's safekeepers. Little did he know that this step will lead to the couple's very own family crisis.
Lowman has been discovering, molding, and casting theater professionals since 2005. Some of his successful productions were 'What Kind Of Love Is This' that told about a couple's struggle against unfaithfulness in a marriage; 'Lord, Make Me Over', which was an individuals' account with drug abuse and homosexuality; and 'He's Still A Man', an infusing story about how a pastor overcame his earthly desires and struggles.
This year, Lowman's passionate team of stage experts, stage crews and versatile professional actors will not fail the showgoers. "For the Love of Money" will be attuned to what producer and director Tyrone Lowman has once said, "What makes our performances different from other plays is we base all of our shows on realistic life situations, but we show them from a Bible base. Our productions send a message of hope, encouragement, love, forgiveness, and faith." The play's blend of family values, money matters and Christian faith will definitely touch the hearts of the audience.
Viewers are set to witness "For the Love of Money" at the Revival Center Church in Edwin Street, Carteret NJ 07008. Adults can purchase tickets at $12 in advance or at $15 during the performance night. Children aging from ten years and below can purchase tickets at $6 at the door. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Ty Low Productions will also donate a portion of their proceeds to selected charities.
