  • (1888PressRelease) December 28, 2012 - Today's innovative business ideas can be hard to convey. The ability to clearly explain what a startup does is fundamental to gaining interest, investment, users and fans. With bContext, new businesses can easily transform complex ideas into engaging multimedia communications. And with the bContext "What We Do" Facebook app, startups can keep their business story at the top of their Facebook Page.

There's no need for high-end equipment or fancy editing skills. bContext enables a startup to add narrative and hand writing notations to static documents (such as PDF, PPT, or any image). bContext easily creates a multimedia file that can be shared for free on Social Networks. And then with the bContext "What We Do" Facebook badge any startup's engaging story can stay front and center at the top of a Facebook Page.

Massimo Scapini (Co-Founder) explains: "As an entrepreneur I know that one of the biggest challenges a startup faces is to answer a very simple question - what does your company do? To communicate the answer is a challenge because what you do improves over time while videos and animations are expensive... This is why we decided to create a way for companies to tell the world about what they do for free."

Spending a significant part of a startup's budget in creating professional videos or animation can be a big mistake, especially for fast moving and improving new businesses. With bContext, startups (or any business with a Facebook page) can record a multimedia story using audio and illustration, including background music.

This multimedia file plays on the "What We Do" Facebook Pages badge or can be emailed and posted through any social network and can be viewed by anyone, on any computer or mobile phone. bContext can also offer advanced analytics such as tracking the number and length of file views, in addition to other viewership data.

bContext was identified early by the tech industry accelerator program, Start-Up Chile, who awarded USD$40K of capital. In parallel, the company raised USD$200K from dedicated angel investors.
