Two Great Shows Coming to Mill Town - Billy Dean on Dec. 31 and American Idol Winner Kris Allen on Jan. 30
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 30 for two must see concerts of the New Year.
- Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) September 30, 2014 - Mill Town Music Hall is excited to celebrate New Year's Eve with Billy Dean and his band, The Steel Horses, on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at 8pm EST. American Idol Champion Kris Allen will perform from his collection of soulful pop-rock hits on Friday, Jan. 30 at 8pm EST. Tickets for both of these concerts go on sale Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 10am EST. Concert goers will be entertained by two great vocalists as they sing from their own music collections. Mill Town Music Hall focuses on wholesome, family-friendly music and events and is located conveniently off I-20 in Bremen (1031 Alabama Avenue).
The New Year's Eve Celebration will be highlighted with Billy Dean, who will perform during an evening full of family-friendly events to ring in the New Year. Following the concert, there will be a dessert and coffee bar, a dance party featuring 60's, 70's and 80's music, viewing of Atlanta's Peach Drop on the big screen and a sparkling cider toast at midnight. An optional dinner buffet catered by Events by Joshua D is available prior to the concert.
Billy Dean first gained national attention after appearing on the television talent competition Star Search. Active as a recording artist since 1990, he has recorded a total of eight studio albums (of which the first three have been certified gold by the RIAA) and a greatest hits package which is also certified gold. His studio albums have accounted for more than twenty hit singles on the Billboard Country charts, including eleven Top Ten hits. Hits include Only Here for a Little While, Somewhere in my Broken Heart, You Don't Count the Cost, and more.
Kris Allen grew up singing in church and learned to play the violin at the age of eight. At 13, he picked up his dad's guitar and hasn't stopped playing or singing. In 2008, Allen joined the eighth season of American Idol and emerged as the winner. Two months later he released his self-titled debut featuring the platinum selling title "Live Like Were Dying" which reached the Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. This past August he released his third album, titled Horizons.
Tickets for the New Year's Eve Celebration with Bill Dean are $40 for "premium reserved" and $35 for "reserved" in advance. Tickets for Kris Allen are $30 for "premium reserved" and $25 for "reserved" in advance.
