"I have been marketing twentysixmiles for 8 months, and have been hearing the same things from network executives and distributors… 'why a six-hour mini-series… what was your producer thinking?", stated Melissa McComas, CEO of Tsunami Worldwide Media. "Now, suddenly, with the success of The Hatfields and McCoy's, my phone hasn't quit ringing. The mini-series is back. And we have a great one that is ready to air"

Twenty Six Miles is a fun, fresh mini-series with quirky characters, beautiful settings, and relevant storylines. John Schneider plays Jack Kincaid, a man so focused on business and making money, that he ignores his family. "This mini-series an event and is a great fit for many networks" says McComas, "It has family values, music, love, romance, and nuns. We want to make sure we make the right choice for our national premiere as the negotiations have begun. Middle America is going to love this and broadcasters will enjoy renewed marketshare."

The mini-series first became popular when Root" exploded into American living rooms in 1977. It was quickly became known as the mini-series golden age, with mini-series like Rich Man, Poor Man, The Thorn Birds, Shogun, Lonesome Dove and many more. Over recent years, the mini-series has become a less utilized format. And the already completed Twenty Six Miles mini-series may ride the wave to the top.
