TVS Television Network Returns to Broadcast TV Station Syndication With Doo Wah Diddy Music Program in September 2025
TVS is celebrating its 65th Anniversary by returning to the broadcast TV syndication model that served the network for its first three decades before converting to Cable TV networks, home video, and then FAST streaming channels.
- (1888PressRelease) April 20, 2025 - TVS Television Network will debut Doo Wah Diddy, a half hour monthly music program targeted at Baby Boomers. The monthly show will be syndicated to broadcast stations in the USA beginning in September 2025.
The show will be sponsored by sister TVS company TVS Records to promote the sale of TVS Records artists such as Boomin Reunion Band, Skruffy Group, and Capehart Pops Orchestra via retail stores as well as digital streaming platforms and digital download services.
TVS began syndicating TV shows to broadcast TV stations in 1960 and for more than two decades was a leading Independent TV Network. The majority of TVS programs was sports such as College Basketball, College Bowl Football Games, and IWA Wrestling but TVS also syndicated entertainment and public affairs programs.
Doo Wah Diddy will feature exclusive music videos of top pop stars of the Baby Boomer era such as Lou Christie, Chuck Jackson, Ernie K Doe, Frankie Ford, Chris Montez, Mitch Ryder, Cannibal and the Headhunters, The Miracles, The Grass Roots, Mark Lindsay, Brian Hyland, and dozens more. All artists will reprise their big hits with the Boomin Reunion Band.
TVS Records presently offers Boomin Reunion Band, Skruffy Group, and Capehart Pops Orchestra songs on leading digital music streaming services such as Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, You Tube Music, iHeart Radio, and SoundCloud. CDs and DVDs are available in retail stores, catalogues, and in direct to consumer TV offers.
