TVS, the fourth oldest TV network in the USA, established IWA Wrestling in 1975 as the first national TV wrestling series.
Classic IWA wrestlers in the series include Ernie Ladd, The Love Brothers, Rip Hawk, Dick 'The Bulldog' Brower, Ivan Koloff, Hacksaw Reynolds, Thunderbolt Patterson, Cowboy Bob Ellis, Tex McKenzie, Gino Brito and Dino Bravo, Ox Baker, The Somoans, Eric the Red, and IWA Wrestling Champion Mil Mascaras.
