TVS Music Guild Adds Moonglow Records and Sunshine Records As Associated Labels in their Music Portfolio
Sunshine Records was a major force in Disco in the 1980's and 1990's while Moonglow Records emphasized Jazz, Latin, Rap, and R+B 'street' hits.
- (1888PressRelease) March 06, 2022 - TVS Music Guild, the music division of TVS Global Media, has pacted with two major record labels of the 1980's and 1990's for digital and traditional distribution. Moonglow Records, a leading R+B label in the 1980's and Sunshine Records, a leading Disco label from the same era, are now associated labels of the TVS Music Guild's label portfolio. TVS owns 56 legacy music labels from the 20th Century and produces the Capehart Music Treasury series of original versions of the greatest hits of the 20th Century.
As a part of the service, TVS will produce new music video and TV versions of the Sunshine and Moonglow music that it releases. TVS is a prolific producer of music videos since the 1980's when it produced the music videos for the iconic Sugar Hill Records label and produced the Fresh Groove syndicated TV series. TVS also produced the Rock & Roll Legends Live TV series in the 1990's featuring original artists reprising their big hits of the 1960's and 1970's.
Many of the great 'street hits' of the Disco era came from Sunshine Records in the 1980's. Moonglow saw major R+B, Jazz, and Latin hits from the same era.
TVS Music Guild is currently producing and releasing 2,000 hits of the 20th Century in an instrumental, easy listening style via Capehart Music Treasury. These songs appear on video on TVS Opus Network and other video streaming services of TVS, as well as on Spotify, iTunes, Napster, Amazon, You Tube, and Pandora.
