TVS Motors, Schneider Electric among others recognized for innovative HR practices at 3rd NHRD-Titan HR Showcase Dr Marshall Goldsmith, stressed on leadership development process as the 'need of the hour' for Indian companies to continue their growth story.
- (1888PressRelease) September 23, 2014 - Over 50 organizations from across India showcased their HR best practices at the 3rd NHRD - Titan HR Showcase held at Bangalore. TVS Motors, Schneider Electric, Lupin, Exide Life Insurance (ING Vysya), Vindhya E Info media and Cloud Nine were awarded for their innovative initiatives that created business impact and growth and have set a benchmark for organizations across sectors. Besides, Jombay won the award for most promising HR startups from among 12 others who were recognized at the two day event, which also marked NHRD Bangalore chapter's silver jubilee celebrations.
Delivering the keynote address at the event, Dr Marshall Goldsmith, one of the world's top CEO Coaches and author of 34 books including international bestsellers, emphasized on effective leadership development process as most critical for Indian organizations to successfully overcome the challenges and establish sustainable growth in the present economic scenario.
Sudheesh Venkatesh, President, NHRD, Bangalore, stated, "The NHRD-Titan HR Showcase is a crown piece of a series of 25 events that cover talent management and corporate governance among others.
