TVS Classic Sports Network Upgrades College Basketball, NASL Soccer, and IWA Wrestling Classic TVS Events to the Fall 2023 Schedule on WatchYour.TV
TVS classic basketball games from the 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's lead the programming upgrade on the channel, with Notre Dame, North Carolina, Syracuse, UCLA, Marquette, DePaul, LSU, Ohio State, Purdue, Duke, and Villanova games being featured in the package.
- (1888PressRelease) June 30, 2023 - TVS Classic Sports Network has expanded it's classic sports menu of games from the TVS library for the Fall 2023 Season. Classic basketball games originally televised in the 1960's, 1970's, and 1980's are featured on the Fall 2023 schedule. TVS Classic Sports Network is a 24/7 FAST streaming channel on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix.
Other classic sports from TVS being added include NASL Soccer matches with Pele, Chinaglia, Franz Beckenbauer, George Best, Johann Cruyff, and other international stars who helped to establish soccer as a national sport in the USA. Also added are classic IWA wrestling matches featuring Mil Mascaras, Bulldog Brower, the Iron Sheik, Cowboy Bob Ellis, Gino Brito + Dino Bravo, Ernie Ladd, Rip Hawk, and other major stars of the era.
In all, more than 100 classic TVS sports events are being added to the schedule. TVS Television Network was founded in 1960 and was a major independent broadcast network for two decades prior to the advent of ESPN.
TVS Classic Sports Network is the only full time 24/7 streaming classic sports network. It is one of six TVS Sports Networks on the WatchYour.TV platform. The others are TVS All American Network, TVS Boxing Network, TVS Tavern TV Network, TVS Turbo Network, and TVS Women Sport Network. In all there are 40 TVS channels on the WatchYour.TV platform, powered by Tulix.
TVS Classic TV Network began with the placement of 300 TVS classic sports events on the Classic Sports Network. After Classic Sports Network was acquired by ESPN, TVS withdrew the 300 game library and began the TVS Classic Sports Network. ESPN has since disbanded the ESPN Classic full time channel.
