"Unsurprisingly, many parents are losing faith in the GCSE and A-level system, and are looking for alternatives to best prepare their children for university," said Adam Caller, founder and senior partner of Tutors International. "The two best known alternatives are the pre-U exam and the International Baccalaureate, however the latter can be very restrictive if the family wish to travel. We have been approached by several families looking for alternatives, as they don't want to be forced to restrict international travel for two years by the need to live close to an IB registered school."
