Tuscany Village Skilled Nursing Teams Up With Arthritis Foundation
Pearland Texas Facility Participated In Annual Bone Bash.
- Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) November 19, 2016 - Tuscany Village, the overall rated 4-star Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, participated as a sponsor in the Arthritis Foundation Annual Bone Bash Gala that was held on October 28, 2016. The Arthritis Foundation Bone Bash is a Halloween-themed event that raises funds for the Arthritis Foundation. This costumed affair included spooky decorations, costume contests, live auction, and frightfully fun entertainment. Tuscany Village proudly sponsored the Bone Bash decorations which created a fun and giving atmosphere.
"Helping raise funds is one of our key priorities at Tuscany Village. So many of our patients experience the pain of arthritis, and we are fighting hard, alongside the Arthritis Foundation, to help people live healthier lives," said Cecil Barcelo, Jr., Administrator of Tuscany Village.
Tuscany Village offers various therapeutic programs to help their patients deal with managing their pain during their stay. Most recently, Tuscany Village added a new transitional rehabilitation program wing to their existing facility, where short-term patients receive state-of-the-art rehabilitation care for various afflictions such as arthritis.
The new wing offers 19 private rooms to Tuscany Village plus an additional kitchen, dining, and transitional gym for short-term rehabilitation guests. "We are excited about the growth of our facility, reflected in the need for impressive accommodations for both guests and their visiting family and friends," concluded Cecil Barcelo, Jr.
