Nearly 200 million people use cell phones in the U.S.. As 'newer', more high tech versions are released in rapid succession, many cellular phones are being thrown out even though they are still useful. NOW you can get rid of the old technology and turn that old phone into cash for Soldiers' Angels.
Soldiers' Angels has teamed up with Pacebutler to collect cell phones (handsets and batteries only). Recycled for cash, these phones will buy much needed prepaid long-distance calling cards to give military members overseas the opportunity to 'phone home' to families and friends. This partnership is not only good for the environment with the recycling effort, but also for our service members. With your help, Soldiers Angels can help our troops 'reach out and touch' their loved ones, around the world.
Community members and businesses interested in donating phones, or setting up a collection location in behalf of Soldiers' Angels, are requested to send their name, address, phone number and how many boxes or bags (up to five) that they would like sent to them to the following email address: saphonedrive ( @ ) gmail dot com or call Soldiers’ Angels at (615) 676-0239 dot
The pre-paid boxes and bags will be sent out to the person requesting to host a collection and all shipping labels will have Soldiers' Angels information on it. This gives Soldiers' Angels credit for the donated cell phones. Individuals who set up a host location are asked to ship cell phones back to Pacebutler in the pre-paid boxes on a monthly basis.
Soldiers' Angels is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the support of the brave men and women deployed in support of the War on Terror in Iraq, Afghanistan and wherever we fly the flag of the United States of America.
