TurbineAero Promotes Barry Startz to the Global Director of LRU Operations
TurbineAero has promoted Barry Startz to the position of Global Director, LRU [Line Replaceable Units] Operations for TurbineAero Repair.
- (1888PressRelease) August 15, 2017 - Chandler, Arizona — In this newly created role for TurbineAero, Barry will be responsible for growing TurbineAero’s LRU sale and service work as well as assessing market demand to expand TurbineAero’s LRU capability list. Barry will be working to grow sales with existing customers as well as building relationships and growing sales with new customers.
Barry joined TurbineAero Repair (formerly known as Triumph Air Repair) in 1986 and has served in multiple leadership roles throughout the company. Most notably, he served as the Supply Chain Manager, Program Manager, LRU Operations Manager, and APU Operations Manager. In his previous roles within Triumph, Barry drove significant improvements in cost reductions and Supplier Management. In 2016, Barry contributed to over $1M in cost reduction.
