While Tulix has developed live streaming iOS applications in the past, the new apps integrate features that were previously not available, including video on demand (VOD), DVR functionality, a search tab, and video monetization.

Broadcasters upload videos or live streams from a cloud-based management console provided by Tulix and content is automatically displayed in the iOS application. The system lets administrators assign titles, categories, and additional information that determine how videos are sorted within the app and gives users the means to search for videos by related terms. Using Tulix's video monetization system, broadcasters can charge subscriptions or use a pay-per-view model to earn money streaming their content.

Prices for subscriptions and individual videos can be independently set by the broadcaster, and authorized administrators of the billing system have access to a wealth of features, including account management, revenue report generation, and more. Videos and live streams are secured by a paywall that requires a valid account to sign into the app. Users sign up on a page provided by Tulix and are able to access content on the iOS app and all other platforms as soon as their billing information has been verified.
