Tuck Debuts its First Season at Moda
The highly anticipated brand Tuck will be premiering at its first Manhattan Moda Show February 21-23. Vendors are welcome to check out the contemporary brand with their new styles of glam and comfort.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) February 15, 2012 - One year after its premiere showing at NYC Fashion Week, the wait is over…the highly anticipated contemporary brand, TUCK, is available for purchase. The brand is participating at the February MODA Manhattan show, fully stocked with transitional collections that have fashionistas obsessed. Designer Jamie Rice continues to produce flirty and chic clothing while maintaining the edge for which she is known. TUCK is bringing contemporary lifestyle clothing to the next level, comfortably of course.
Spring pieces are so popular that Rice decided to carry them as TUCK's signature items. The infamous "Peek-a-Boo" side top, which has a "skin-bearing" cutout, will continue as a great layering item. The Madison jacket is also becoming iconic, its high neck finished with a gold metal zipper down the back, and gold trim and studs line the arms. Rice's keen attention to detail has ensured her success for designing wearable clothing. While still using cottons like French terry and jersey, glitter and glam poly are added to the mix this season. Inspiration comes from vintage wardrobe she admires in which she states, "The new garments are full of unique patterns and fun fabrics, with just a bit more edge. My main focus will continue to be comfort and style".
Rice's knowledge of the fashion industry, specifically casual wear have prepared her for this entrepreneurial premier. Her drive and passion grow exponentially. When asked about her vision for the brand she says, "Knowing how to build a brand, I want people to think of TUCK as a lifestyle, it's what I've always wanted… it's what TUCK is".
TUCK will be the trendy booth at MODA and Rice is counting on her unique and thoughtful taste to make it stand out. All eyes will be on the TUCK collection this season.
