TTS Strengthens Its Border Transportation Infrastructure

- El Paso, TX (1888PressRelease) September 20, 2013 - Because of rapid expansion, Tecma Transportation Services (TTS) has purchased and deployed a state-of-the-art, integrated fleet management truck. The need to acquire mobile maintenance capabilities is the outgrowth of the expansion of border transportation capabilities that TTS brought on line during the spring of this year.
Tecma Transportation Services is currently comprised of a fleet of sixteen International ProStar trucks that are powered by Maxxforce engines, this number includes four new units that were added this past spring. TTS also makes fifty-three dry van trailers, twenty-seven of which are "air-ride" equipped, and two straight or "bobtail" trucks available to its border transportation customers.
Bringing the fleet maintenance truck on-line will create optimal performance value to TTS customers, by expanding the company's internal capabilities to handle any mechanical difficulties that may arise in an expeditious and professional manner, thereby providing shippers more security in the border transportation of their goods.
John Rippee, COO of Tecma Transportation Services asserts that "the bottom line is that our company understands the need to get a repair to an asset done rapidly in order to get product to market or ensure the manufacturing capability of our clients remains optimum. Our new mobile fleet maintenance unit will enable us to accomplish this."
