Tsunami's Melissa McComas says the market for the independent television series TwentySixMiles has improved since the pro sports labor disputes

Twentysixmiles is a fresh TV series about escaping the daily grind and moving to a tropical paradise. The series unfolds as Jack Kincaid, played by John Schneider, is a self assured and in-control corporate executive who's life is centered on corporate take-overs, the art of the deal, and all of the financial benefits that are included with reaching the top of the corporate ladder. While Jack is seemingly living life with a firm grasp of his destiny, he quickly finds himself losing what's most important to him; his family and with them, a piece of himself.
When Jack is faced with a divorce and the prospect of his wife Keri, played by Jessica Tuck, moving the kids away from him and the "rat-race"; Jack and his lawyers manipulate the legal system to keep Keri and their kid's in LA county. Looking for "small-town America" in Los Angeles County, Keri moves to Avalon on Catalina Island; which is still in the county, a mere Twenty Six Miles from her ex-husband, Jack; and the past.
But the story does not end there; add in a reluctant billionaire, Sean "Murph" Murphy, played by Eric Lange, who has lived his life as a dreamer and a schemer, is Jack's best friend and Keri's brother.
