  • (1888PressRelease) October 23, 2013 - La Crosse, WI - On Wednesday, October 9th, TSE Services, along with the Charlotte Knights and Toshiba America Business Solutions announced that the widest and most technologically advanced video board in minor league baseball will be installed at BB&T Ballpark prior to the 2014 baseball season. The 30.42-by-80.83 foot HD video board will consist of nearly three million LED lamps and will be the main attraction at the team's new $54-million stadium. The announcement marked another milestone video board project for TSE. The Wisconsin-based company has now managed the design, procurement and oversight of three of the top five largest video boards in the MiLB.

Leading up to the 2013 baseball season, TSE managed both the Reading Fightin Phil's and the Trenton Thunder's video board projects - both of which are also in the top five. The board at FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading, PA measures 28 -by-59 feet, and the board at ARM and HAMMER Park in Trenton, NJ measures 22-by-67.5 feet. "TSE did an outstanding job for us in our video board search. The reality is, there is a lot of technology to work through, and a lot of things that we as baseball operators are not experts at," Scott Hunsicker, General Manager for the Fightin Phils stated, "TSE cut through all that and really streamlined the process for us."

With TSE's experience in the industry, each organization was able to find the best video board solution for their respective stadium. YESCO Electronics was awarded the board in Trenton, and TS Sports was awarded the board in Reading. "With each team and facility we work with, we tailor the board to their budget and opportunity for added revenue," Bob Masewicz, Owner and Chief Consultant for TSE said, "The boards in Reading and Trenton, along with the board set for 2014 in Charlotte, are truly ahead in their class."

In addition to the main video board, TSE, along with Toshiba, will be integrating additional displays at BB&T Ballpark. These additions include; a 14-by-35 foot LED exterior video display, an 8-by-120 foot LED ribbon board, two 3-by-32.5 foot fascia ribbon LED displays, an LED video ribbon board measuring 2.5-by-42.75 feet, and multiple LCD menu boards. "From my experiences working with consultants in the past, TSE clearly stood out as the firm to take BB&T Ballpark to the next level," said Scott Brown, General Manager of Baseball Operations for the Knights.

TSE Service's Consulting Division has managed over twenty five video board projects and over fifty additional audio/video integrations across North America during the past decade. Another notable project included the widest board in minor league hockey in Kalamazoo, MI. Other recent projects TSE's Consulting Division has taken the lead on include procuring video boards at Centennial Field (Burlington, VT), Newman Outdoor Field (Fargo, ND), Boomers Stadium (Schaumburg, IL), The Ballpark at Jackson (Jackson, TN), Consol Energy Park (Washington, PA), and Fifth Third Ballpark (Grand Rapids, MI).
