Narisah born Nerissa Kelly assumed the former spelling after stumbling across a spiritual book. Narisah derives from third century Persia's Manichaean pantheon meaning "Virgin of Light" or "Goddess of Light". Originally from Chicago, she started out very young as a street dancer. However she's noted for her authentic singing voice and acting role in Gene Siskel Black Harvest independent film "E.S.P." Narisah played "Tee" in the romantic comedy. She also wrote, performed the theme song "E.S.P" and montage song "Money." When asked which art form she most enjoys she replies, "Dance, it's my first love."
