Troi Tyler of V103 and WSCU understudy Lynda Payne interviews Nerissa 'Rah' Kelly, artist and social entrepreneur who assumed spelling "Narisah". Narisah is a 3rd century Persian figure from the Manichaean pantheon. They discuss her and latest Crash Dummy EP that pays tribute and more...
Narisah born Nerissa Kelly assumed the former spelling after stumbling across a spiritual book. Narisah derives from third century Persia's Manichaean pantheon meaning "Virgin of Light" or "Goddess of Light". Originally from Chicago, she started out very young as a street dancer. However she's noted for her authentic singing voice and acting role in Gene Siskel Black Harvest independent film "E.S.P." Narisah played "Tee" in the romantic comedy. She also wrote, performed the theme song "E.S.P" and montage song "Money." When asked which art form she most enjoys she replies, "Dance, it's my first love."
