Trigild Announces Keynote Speaker for Spring Lender Conference
Reis Chief Economist to Address Fourth Annual Event.
- San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) March 13, 2015 - Victor Calanog, Ph.D., chief economist and senior vice president at REIS - a leading provider of commercial real estate market information and analysis - will headline the fourth annual Trigild Spring Lender Conference, set for April 22 to 23, 2015, at the Hotel Zaza in downtown Dallas.
Working with a team of economists and analysts, Calanog is responsible for the firm's market forecasting, valuation and real estate portfolio analytics services. His research has received awards and fellowship support from several institutions, including the Ford Foundation, the Russell Sage Foundation and the Penn Lauder Center for International Business Research. He is a research and teaching fellow at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he earned a Ph.D. in applied economics and management science.
According to conference founder and Trigild president Judy Hoffman, Trigild launched the spring conference in 2012 to complement the success of its annual fall event in San Diego - which traditionally sells out. This year, hundreds of participants will convene in Dallas to hear Calanog and other leading commercial real estate and finance industry leaders address topics relevant to the economy, finance, commercial real estate and the lending industries, among them: Enforcing CRE Loans: Lessons Learned from the Great Recession; Servicing Single Family Residential Portfolios; How Declining Oil Prices Will Affect Real Estate; Alternatives to Bankruptcy; Examples of Successful Resolutions; Special Properties, Special Problem; and Adding Value to Those Really Tough Assets.

· Clark Rogers, senior vice president of special servicing/asset management - KeyBank Real Estate Capital
