Trigild Adds Brian Morelan and Wes Lavendar to Executive Team
New Team Members Will Be Instrumental to Continued Growth and Success.
- San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) May 11, 2011 - Adding to its team of seasoned commercial real estate and hospitality industry professionals, Trigild has named Brian Morelan as its new director of property management and Wes Lavender, business development director.
"Both Brian and Wes are important new team members, and we are confident they will be instrumental to our continuing growth and success," said Bill Hoffman, president and CEO of Trigild, a rapidly growing San Diego-based company specializing in distressed property management, receivership and loan recovery.
An accomplished industry professional with 28 years experience in asset and property management, Morelan will oversee multifamily office, retail and industrial assets nationwide for Trigild, supervising a staff of 30. Prior to joining Trigild, Morelan was vice president of asset management for Fairfield Residential - where for five years he led efforts to manage a high-performing, $4 billion portfolio of 170 properties and more than 40,000 units. Prior to that, Morelan served as regional vice president at BRE properties, where he operated and managed a portfolio of 5,000 multifamily units. His experience also includes serving in various management positions for Oakwood Worldwide.
Morelan holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and has completed post-graduate coursework in property management and real estate principles.
A Certified Hotel Administrator, Lavender has over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. In his new position as business development director, he will concentrate on expanding Trigild's hospitality portfolio and overall market share. In this capacity, he will analyze and pursue new business opportunities, including securing new hotel assets.
Before joining Trigild, Lavender served as general manager for various hotels, among them the Holiday Inn Mission Valley, Country Inn & Suites San Diego, Holiday Inn H&S Anaheim and Holiday Inn Express Oklahoma City. His background also includes two years as quality consultant for IHG, where he was responsible for quality evaluations, training and franchisee relations for over 100 hotels in Southern California.
Lavender holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Texas in Arlington.
