- (1888PressRelease) October 06, 2010 - Salisbury jewellers, H R Tribbeck & Son, have always produced top quality valuations. Recently their valuations expert, David Fromming, has had his work nationally recognised as he has been awarded the status of Fellow of the Institute of Registered Valuers: putting him in the top 10% of Registered Valuers in the UK. Roland Tribbeck, partner, said,
"I'm very pleased that David's years of hard work and tenacity have been recognised by the fellowship status: a most deserved achievement"
The National Association of Goldsmiths, established in 1894, is the retail jewellery trade association. It formed the "The Institute of Registered Valuers", a body set up to maintain consistently high standards in the valuation of jewellery and silverware. Registration is only granted to those in the jewellery trade able to demonstrate the knowledge, experience and equipment to undertake work to exacting standards. David was recently made a Fellow of the Institute because his work has been nationally singled out to be of an exemplary standard.
So what does this mean for the customer? Well Tribbecks have always had a reputation in Salisbury for producing consistently high quality valuations, and now clients are further assured that they are able to draw on the knowledge of one of highest qualified and experienced valuers in the country. David commented,
"The recognition that the fellowship status brings gives our customers further assurance that they are receiving an expert service."
Rachel Tribbeck, partner, was also thrilled with David's achievement,
"It's always a great feeling to know that we are able to offer our customers the best in terms of sales, repairs and expert services such as valuations"
It is important to have valuable items such as jewellery, clocks and silverware valued for insurance regularly. This is especially true today as commodity prices of gold and silver have risen significantly over the last few years. Therefore values for items listed on an insurance policy may need updating if the policy holder is not to be under insured. It's also preferable to have valuable items such as jewellery listed separately on a household policy so that their replacement value can be accurately ascertained and updated. Also, in the unfortunate event of having to make a claim for loss, it greatly improves the likelihood of an equitable settlement.
Tribbecks are able to undertake valuations for insurance or for probate and more information can be found on their website at www.tribbecks.com/valuations or by phoning them on 01722 324395.
