Triangle Technology Executives Council Offers Innovation Scholarship
Nonprofit Organization To Reward Two Students For Innovative Solutions
In Software And Information Technology Fields.
- Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill, NC (1888PressRelease) March 02, 2011 - The Triangle Technology Executives Council (http://www.ncttec.net), a nonprofit organization dedicated to continuous education and economic development of technology companies in the Research Triangle region of North Carolina, has announced its 2011 scholarship program, the TTEC Innovation Scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded to the two students with the most innovative solutions in the software and information technology fields.
The award for first place is a scholarship of $6,000 and a second place award of $4,000. The awards are to be paid directly to the educational institution the student attends to cover tuition, room and board, and books. The submission deadline to apply is Tuesday, March 15. DETAILS:
- To qualify, a student must be enrolled in a two or four- year degree program or a graduate-level program in the fall of 2011.
- Students must provide a transcript in order to be considered eligible.
- Applicable technologies used in innovative solution are those that fall into the categories of Software or Information Technology (IT). This would include, but is not limited to: any software application, new, extended, integrated or repurposed, integration and/or use of IT infrastructure and systems (at the box level, not the circuitry level), mobile computing and the use of wireless.
- High school seniors are encouraged to apply.
