Transport Training Provider, Novadata, launches Vehicle Tracking & Remote Download Management Module
Leading tachograph analysis provider Novadata has launched a new addition to its Convey suite of online management modules; the Vehicle Tracking & Remote Downloading service, which integrates seamlessly with Novadata’s existing service offering.
- (1888PressRelease) November 17, 2021 - Novadata now offers a module for online digital tachograph analysis; a vehicle walkaround check app; and modules for fleet maintenance management; vehicle tracking & remote downloading; and driving licence checks. All five modules can be accessed via a single online login, putting more critical operational information at the fingertips of the professional transport manager than ever before.
The new module, Vehicle Tracking & Remote Downloading, is an invaluable tool which can be used internationally, as well as throughout the UK. It allows the remote downloading of both the digital tachograph vehicle unit and the driver card, giving access to real time data. Its features include monitoring of lone workers to enhance their safety; the ability to allocate specific driver IDs and create driver or vehicle groups. It also allows the manager to monitor fuel consumption; temperatures in the various zones of refrigerated units, and provides engine diagnostics to flag up problems while the vehicle is on the road.
The Vehicle Tracking & Remote Downloading module also produces a wide range of customisable reports which are ideal for inclusion in board reports to keep senior management informed. These robust records also help to fulfil the O Licence holder’s undertakings and legal obligations. The records created using this new module will stand the organisation in good stead in an inspection by the DVSA or law enforcement agencies, helping to safeguard the user’s O Licence.
Fully customisable alerts and prompts can be set up to remind the transport manager of critical tasks and ensure that deadlines are never missed. These can be delivered via the system itself, as well as by email and mobile phone, allowing the manager to have more than one method of keeping updated, and helping to ensure management continuity during vacations or absence.
