Transoft Solutions Adds Civil 3D Integration for the New NEXUS Intersections 2.0

The new software was developed to give transportation engineers the and planners the ability to quickly and efficiently create intersection layouts with pre-generated templates and sophisticated editing tools that continually update the intersection as design changes are made. Also incorporated in the new release is the ability to quickly create geometry with surface grading and drainage patterns in their intersection layouts with the new Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D® integration.

- Addition of over 450 different roadway intersection leg templates and the ability to use previously saved intersection layouts as templates.
- Grading model support for dynamic integration (generation and updating) of Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D® horizontal alignments, vertical profiles, corridors, and top surfaces.
- Design Corner Geometry includes the ability to reference the AASHTO 2004/2010 tables for different corner geometry types.
- Added the ability to control the taper and offset of a median island at the approach ends
- New categories to define default settings for automatic creation of corner and median islands.
- Design guidelines from FHWA 2010 and AUSTROADS 2009
- Compatibility with Autodesk® AutoCAD® 2013, Autodesk® AutoCAD® Civil 3D® 2013, and Bentley® MicroStation® V8 XM and V8i.
