Translators without Borders chooses XTRF
Translators without Borders - the principal charity organization in the translation industry - has chosen XTRF as its project management system for the TWB Health Translators' Training Center in Nairobi, Kenya.

During the 20 years of its existence, TWB has translated more than 30 million words of humanitarian content and aided billions of people across the globe. Now they have decided to implement a management system that is able to organize the growing number of projects in the organization's Kenyan operations.
Traducteurs sans Frontières (TSF) was founded in 1993 by Lori Thicke and Ros Smith-Thomas to link the world's translators to vetted NGOs that focus on health, nutrition, and education. Today, TSF's American sister non-profit organization, Translators without Borders, assists in translating more than eight million words per year for NGOs such as Médecins sans Frontières, Médecins du Monde, Action Against Hunger, Oxfam US, and Handicap International.
However, this is just a small drop in the ocean of need. Few years ago the organization introduced the first humanitarian translation center in the world, focusing on work in the healthcare field. Since the center is growing fast the organization's executives drew a conclusion to bring a management platform into play. XTRF will be used by the head of the center and his team to simplify the project management part of the work.
