Transit Systems, Inc. Announces Winners of the "Music That Moves You!" Prize Drawing
Transit Systems, Inc. announces iPod Nano and iTunes gift certificates prize winners of the "Music That Moves You" Prize Drawing which was launched last month for votes on top ten songs about moving.
- Philadelphia, PA-NJ (1888PressRelease) June 07, 2011 - Millions of Americans move each year, and a lot of them like Billy Joel.
At least that's what a recent prize drawing indicated. The "Music That Moves You!" prize sweepstakes was held last month by Transit Systems, Inc. (http://www.transitsystems.com/), a leading provider of moving and shipping services, to determine what Americans consider to be the best song to move to. The song "Moving Out" by Billy Joel was voted as the top moving song by 20 percent of voters, taking the lead over artists like Kelly Clarkson, The Beatles and P. Diddy.
Winners were chosen at random from all entries. Mark Chapman of Washington, D.C., won an iPod Nano. iTunes gift certificates were also awarded to Derrick Lee of Pendleton, SC, and Mary Shaffer of Las Vegas, NV.
"'Music That Moves You' was brilliant," says Chapman. "Listening to music when you're moving to a new place is essential, whether you're nostalgic about the place you're leaving, or excited for where you're going."
The prize drawing fulfilled its purpose: Letting America know what the top song is to move to, and giving every voter a chance to expand their own personal music library for when they make their next move.
