Transenter proudly announces the launch of its LingoTM plug-in integration with SDL Studio on the 14th of October 2014
LingoTM is Transenter's new product, Translation Memory improvement plug-in software. It uses Smart Match Technology to turn fuzzy matches from the Translation Memory into full matches.
- (1888PressRelease) October 14, 2014 - The product is designed to help Language Service Providers reduce the number of fuzzy matches in translations produced using CAT tools. Through the application of Smart Match Technology, LingoTM makes existing Translation Memory tools more robust and complete. LingoTM is now available for integration with SDL Studio and will be available for integration with Kilgray memoQ at the beginning of 2015.
On average, LingoTM converts 15% of fuzzy matches into full matches. For Language Service Providers, this means faster translations and higher profits. The resulting translations are more accurate and more time-efficient and cost less to produce. Formatting and leverage of translation memory are both enhanced: LingoTM has the ability to detect gaps in the existing TM segments and process new segments for translation before matching them against the normalised Translation Memory.
Language Service Providers can boost their existing Translation Memory by implementing LingoTM with their CAT software. LingoTM takes the contents of translation memory segments and normalises them, replacing the stored entities with the correct names, dates, numbers, and other specific data from the source text. It then inserts the normalised segments into the target language.
