- (1888PressRelease) June 25, 2014 - Mumbai - Like every year, on the occasion of World Blood Donors Day, this year too Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd. organized a blood donation camp in association with Think Foundation at its head office, Transasia House and at its manufacturing setup at SEEPZ.
As a part of its corporate social responsibility, this year the drive was held on 5th June, 2014 for the fifth consecutive year.
The drive garnered a good response. More than 100 employees set aside other priorities, came forward and readily donated their precious blood towards this noble cause. The blood generated through this drive will be administered to Thalassemic children who are in crucial need of life-long donations for their survival.
