TradeShow Teacher President, Linda Musgrove, To Speak at First Annual Red Diamond Congress Show in Chicago
Linda Musgrove, President of TradeShow Teacher has been selected to give a presentation on "Media Relations" at the first annual Red Diamond Congress show in Chicago.
- (1888PressRelease) July 07, 2012 - The trade show industry's newly minted Exhibitor and Event Marketers Association is proud to announce the 2012 Red Diamond Congress, to be held July 10th to July 12th in Chicago, IL.
The Red Diamond Congress will be the first annual event of the Exhibitor and Event Marketers Association, which has taken a bold step by merging two of the strongest leading trade show associations, the Exhibitor Appointed Contractor Association and Trade Show Exhibitors Association.
TradeShow Teacher President Linda Musgrove was an immediate shoo-in during the selection process for the lineup of experts invited to speak at this inaugural event. Considering Musgrove's qualifications, which include over a decade of broad range experience in the trade show industry, as well as a widely recognized reputation as a top-notch speaker at trade shows nationwide, it's no wonder Jim Wurm, the newly appointed Executive Director of the Red Diamond Congress Conference, thought her a natural choice.
Musgrove, who was also chosen as an expert in her field by the world- renowned "The Complete Idiot's Guide" series to author "The Complete Idiot's Guide To Trade Shows", is deeply honored to be selected as an RDC 2012 guest speaker and looks forward to attending the prestigious event as well as presenting a session focused on media relations.
"I am particularly thrilled to be a part of the first meeting of the Red Diamond Congress because TradeShow Teacher shares the core values underlining the mission of the Exhibitor and Event Marketers Association, which continues to be enhancing the expertise of exhibit and event planner professionals in exhibit and event marketing and to raise the level of service excellence on the tradeshow floor. The Red Diamond Congress aims to promote these values, as do I", said Musgrove.
Linda Musgrove will be presenting what promises to be a highly informative session on "Media Relations" on Wednesday, July 11 from 10-10:50am.
The Media Relations session will be markedly important to trade show professionals, as the role of the media continues to grow and becomes increasingly significant to marketing and promotions on a global scale. Media relations is also recognized as a key component of every trade show marketing strategy because trade shows offer rare occasions to meet face to face with accredited media professionals and often provide opportunities to win awards. This distinguishes a product as a cut above the rest and offers valuable 3rd party validation.
Establishing strong media relations will undoubtedly help exhibitors attract more attendees by getting their products covered before and during the event, while post show coverage will prolong the awareness gains of their campaigns.
Musgrove's session will be a backstage pass behind the curtain of trade show media relations and will educate exhibitors on how to best utilize opportunities for exposure.
The first annual gathering of EEMA promises to attract more than 200 of the top corporate exhibitors and event managers with six and seven-figure annual budgets throughout the United States. The draw for the buyers includes 45 seminars and general sessions featuring the nation's leading exhibit marketing experts who, along with TradeShow Teacher's founder Linda Musgrove, are devoted to finding tactical solutions for the challenging issues facing exhibit and event marketing today.
Included in the RDC 2012 program of events will be strategic level insights into what senior level event managers should do to optimize their event production for maximum business value.
The Exhibitor and Event Marketers Association boasts an impressive membership comprised of more than 500 member companies representing more than 17,500 full time trade show professionals and more than 45,000 part time trade show workers. The association is headquartered in Bend, Oregon.
