A native of Durham, North Carolina, Tracy Ross is the daughter of Reverend Nancy Ross and (the late) Paul Ross Sr. She is the youngest of five children and mother to her 20-year-old son Jerrell. Tracy graduated from North Carolina Central University with a degree in Community Health Education in 2001. In the fall of 1999, she joined the prestigious Alpha Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

Growing up, Tracy always knew there was a call of the Lord on her life. While seeking God more closely, Tracy attended the School of The Prophets with Bishop George Bloomer and preached her first sermon April 27, 2014, becoming a licensed minister after completing Ministers in Training at Victorious Praise Fellowship Church. She currently speaks as a guest minister at local churches and recently received the role of the pastor in the Black Nativity, produced by Throne Life Media in Durham, NC. As the first female ever to play this role, this phenomenal show has run for the past 8 years and plays to thousands.
