TP3 Global Expands European Supply Chain Network
TP3 Global opens in France, bringing local distribution of its SilverSkin thermal pallet covers, blankets and wraps to Southern Europe including Italy, Spain, Portugal and North Africa.
- (1888PressRelease) May 12, 2015 - Luc Ducaroir, formerly Senior VP Sales & Marketing and Contract Logistics for Kuehne + Nagel, has joined TP3 Global as Director for South Europe.
TP3 Global CEO, Clive Wheeldon says, "With such extensive logistics experience, Luc will bring excellent knowledge to the TP3 Global team as we continue to serve our customers on a local basis around the world. TP3 is one of the few thermal cover manufacturers with true global capability backed with extensive supply chain and temperature controlled packaging knowledge, Luc's experience further strengthens this".
Ducaroir commented: "France, Italy and Spain represent more than 10% of the global Pharmaceutical market and TP3 Global's comprehensive range of products will enable us to meet customer needs for efficient passive thermal protection locally. Our storage facility, in Ivry (Paris), will provide our clients fast access to SilverSkin thermal covers. We will also develop new products for industries such as perishables, chemicals and drinks that require temperature protection during their transportation phases."
The SilverSkin range of isothermal reflective materials, designed by specialist thermal cover manufacture TP3 Global, has been extensively developed, tested, qualified and used by a number of major global pharmaceutical companies. Converted into thermal pallet cover sizes to suit various skid and air cargo pallet configurations, it encapsulates the freight to defer temperature change, protect against inclement weather and prevent contamination.
SilverSkin covers are manufactured in Europe, the Americas, India and China, supported by further investments in enhanced production processes of raw materials.
