Toys For Tots Event Benefiting The Miami Children's Hospital Annual Toy Drive
Bar 721 Helps Spread Holiday Joy and Cheer to South Florida's Disadvantaged Youth.
- Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) December 08, 2010 - This Christmas help bring a smile to South Florida's disadvantaged children at the Annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive benefiting Miami Children's Hospital. This year's event will take place at the renowned and luxurious Temple House on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 1415 Euclid Avenue in Miami Beach; followed immediately by the official after party at Bar 721, an upscale lounge on 721Lincoln Lane North.
The primary goal of this private reception is to make sure no child get's left behind this Christmas. Special guests will donate an unwrapped toy and enjoy a night of upscale elegance while bringing joy to a child this Christmas. With last year's event generating over 500 toys for local children, attendees can be assured that each donation will go directly into the hands of a needy child. The official after party will be held at Bar 721, South Beach's premier lounge.
Hosting the Toy Drive will be some of South Florida's most notable personalities including: Omar Gonzalez, Vice Mayor Michael Gongora, Louis Aguirre, Dan Sehres, Cynthia Acosta, Chrissy Morales, Christopher Ciccone, Craig Stevens, Dr. Julio Galo, Jochy Ortiz, Edison Farrow, Tony Ferro, Lauren Martin, and Janet Jorgulesco.
The U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program (www.toysfortots.org) aims to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community. Over its 18 year life span, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation has supplemented local toy collections with more than 81.3 million toys valued at more than $487 million.
