Martingale Internet Technologies, home of the net's largest selection of hobby-related communities is going back to its roots with a name change - to HobbyTalk.
Initially, the site will focus on vintage Dinky and Corgi Toys before rolling out to cover other brands and areas of the toy, model and hobby market, catering for both antique and modern items, accessories and supplies. Currently the site invites Sellers to upload their inventory with a launch planned for the 21st of June.
The project will make use of ToyPedia's cataloguing technology, specially developed to create databases of collectable toys and models, and will cover everything from vintage Triang Scalextric and Aurora to modern high-detail models from SCX, Le Mans and the like.
Toy Collector's ToyPediaŽ project has received a huge boost thanks to two of the most famous names in the toy world - one still a thriving company, the other a memory.
Martingale Internet Technologies is closing the gap for model-train collectors by being joined by two specialist sites in the race to build the most innovative resource to date: ToyPedia.
ToyPedia, the online encyclopaedia project launched by ToyCollector with the support of volunteers world-wide had now reached 50,000. The item that marks the celebration is the Red Mini Dinki E-Type Jaguar. All toys, all models, one platform:ToyPedia.
