Touchstone Health & Healthcare Partners Sign Strategic Alliance Agreement
Touchstone Health and Healthcare Partners have signed a strategic alliance agreement in order to provide more products and services and improved care to Medicare patients.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) November 03, 2010 - Touchstone Health, one of New York's fastest growing Medicare Advantage insurers, and HealthCare Partners (HCP), one of the area's largest and most successful Independent Physician Associations (IPA), today announced a long term agreement that we believe will result in greater health care access for Touchstone members. This collaboration, effective Oct. 1, 2010, will mean improved care and more choices for Medicare members, as well as better service for providers.

Touchstone offers a diverse portfolio of product options, including a choice of zero and low dollar co-pay plans that helped them recently grow from 11,400 to over 17,000 members. Touchstone's membership is projected to increase to more than 20,000 in January 2011. These members will now have access to HCP's quality care initiatives, including the Personal Care Coordinator program, by which members will have health care Coordinators assigned to assist them in accessing their medical care.
