Top Business School Kolkata Heritage Business School Sweeps Three National Awards At E-Week Grand Finale

(1888PressRelease) May 08, 2016 - Over 3500 academic institutes, 45 cities, 1500 events and 8 lakh participants - that was the magnitude of the 9th E-Week of National Entrepreneurship Network. The institutes of the east zone had participated with great gusto and the grand finale was held on 5th march 2015 at Heritage Business School. All the Heritage Group of Institutes had participated and they had 45 entrepreneurial ideas between them. Out of all the well performing institutes, HBS managed to bag 3 awards - Highest Impact Institute Award, E-Week Champion Award and E-Week Premier Impact Award - Star Faculty - awarded to Dr. Rimu Chaudhuri

Efforts of Volunteers Recognized
The volunteers and students of HBS were acknowledged publicly by Prof. Malay Kumar Banerjee, Dean-Heritage Business during the E-Week Award Ceremony held at Swami Vivekananda Auditorium on March 05, 2016. Each of the awardees were called up on the dais and presented with a book as a token of appreciation.

Inspirational Talk by The Dignitaries
Shri H. P. Budhia, Chairman, Patton Industries and Chairman, Heritage Business School delivered the Keynote Address on the Finale day. The Award winning Institutes were felicitated by Mr. Atul Raja to the institutes which best demonstrated the spirit of E-Week by providing leadership while sustaining and growing a strong Entrepreneurship Ecosystem on their campuses. He also enumerated on the qualities required by a person to succeed in life as an entrepreneur. Prof. Banerjee spoke on the events and activities throughout the E-Week while Mr. Pradip Agarwal, CEO, Heritage Group of Institutions Kolkata highlighted the fact that Heritage Group of Institutions has inculcated entrepreneurial skills among the students since its inception and that has led to their success.
