Tomberlin(R) Automotive Group Announces New Distributor for Sub-Saharan Africa and Indian Ocean Territories
Tomberlin begins expanding its territory.
- Augusta-Richmond County, GA-SC (1888PressRelease) June 26, 2012 - Tomberlin® Automotive Group, manufacturer of electric low speed street-legal and off-road vehicles, announced the appointment of Imperial Green Mobility Solutions as a new international distributor. Imperial Green Mobility Solutions is based out of Johannesburg, South Africa and covers the Sub-Saharan Africa and Indian Ocean (Mauritus, Seychelles and Reunion) territories.

Imperial Green Mobility Solutions will offer the Tomberlin Vanish™ electric 4x4 UTV and E-Merge™ to be used as a neighborhood electric vehicle. The Vanish is capable of meeting LSV standards and is designed for large industrial and utilitarian uses. Features that make the Vanish stand out from traditional platforms are its AC-Drive System, shift-on-the-fly four wheel drive and being first electric UTV to have a two speed transmission. Imperial Green Mobility Solutions will put the Vanish to good use as transportation for guided tours including resorts and wildlife safaris.

Another development is Imperial Green Mobility Solutions' association with the World Food Program under the United Nations to help distribute food to impoverished communities in Africa with the aid of the Vanish manufactured by Tomberlin.
