- Sacramento, CA (1888PressRelease) September 15, 2018 - Wizard World, Inc. (OTCBB: WIZD) continues its 2018 schedule at the fifth Wizard World Sacramento, October 5-7 at Cal Expo. Tom Felton (Harry Potter franchise), Mike Colter (“Marvel’s Luke Cage,” “The Defenders”), Henry Winkler ("Happy Days," "Barry"), Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk,” “The King of Queens”), Matt Ryan (“Constantine,” “Legends of Tomorrow”), and Thomas Ian Nicholas (Rookie of the Year, American Pie) headline the early roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the comic convention and pop culture extravaganza.
Winkler will attend on Saturday and Sunday, October 6-7; Felton will appear on Saturday; Colter is scheduled to appear on Friday and Saturday; the others will attend all three days.
The event will also feature voice actors Rikki Simons ("Invader Zim," "SpongeBob SquarePants") and Erica Schroeder ("Pokemon," "Yu-Gi-Oh"), plus noted professional wrestlers Kevin Nash, Billy Gunn and Animal. Additional celebrities will be announced closer to the event date.
Wizard World Sacramento will also feature non-stop live entertainment, table and video gaming, exclusive Q&A sessions with top celebrities, kids zone activities, meet-and-greets and more. The 13th event scheduled on the 2018 Wizard World calendar, Sacramento show hours are Friday, October 5, 4-9 p.m.; Saturday, October 6, 10 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday, October 7, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Kids 10 and under are admitted free with paid adult.
Wizard World Sacramento is also the place for cosplay, with fans young and old showing off their best costumes throughout the event. Fans dressed as every imaginable character – and some never before dreamed – will roam the convention floor and participate in the famed Wizard World Costume Contest on Saturday evening.
