Dr. Curran's voluntary ABOS certification initially required him to undergo a multistage evaluation process involving completion of an accredited residency and prescribed tenure of professional practice, peer review, and written and oral examinations including a review of actual surgical cases. To maintain certification, Dr. Curran will continue to participate in an on-going ten-year program featuring periodic documentation of his performance.
His Board recertification is a testament to the on-going dedication Dr. Curran displays in his professional practice.
