We feel very overwhelmed and awesome to tell you all that we successfully comepleted our 1st donation drive today. We donated ration to around 100 families at an adivasi wadi, 'Diviwadi'. Keeping in mind how much hygiene is important in this situation wherein the whole country is in turmoil, we also donated SOAPS and SANITARY PADS. We also tried and created awareness amongst all the women from the adivasi wadi about using pads and how to use them.
We were fortunate enough to get really helpful and co-operative people in the adivasi wadi who helped us throughout.
To tell you all more about the adivasi wadi, the people there have been staying in their houses and not going out since lockdown. Also, 95% of the adivasi wadi is "व्यसन मुक्त" as in addiction free which is commendable.
Furthermore, we were lucky to get very very valuable guidance from the deputy collector, Sharada Powar ma'am. We also had a chance to have a conversation with some police officers.
Also, this donation would not have taken place without the support of Sandeep Varge sir! So we thank him for that.
We are thankful to all the members who took part in the donation drive, all the members who contributed for the donation and all our well-wishers.
