The Waiting Room Solutions Orthopedics EHR and PM has been specifically designed for orthopedics practices in order to maximize efficiency, profitability and patient care. To quicken charting and reduce chart processing expenses, the system provides specialty orthopedics templates. Through implementation of the WRS Orthopedics Specialty EHR, Comprehensive Orthopedics will be able to achieve its goal of streamlining the record keeping and claim submission processes. Through the use of specialty templates, CPT coding and ICD-9 crosswalks, the practice will be able to quickly and accurately chart its patient encounters. While these charting features ensure that visits are properly documented and capture all charges correctly, the WRS billing module and credentialing service ensure that the revenue cycle is completed timely and correctly. The module automatically receives charges, cross checks them to payer rules, and enters them for claim submission without dual entry by staff. Comprehensive Orthopedics also looks forward to utilizing the electronic patient statements and claim scrubbers provided by the software. Patient payments are automatically posted to a queue for viewing through the auto-posting feature, and the claim scrubbers reduce errors on claims in order to speed processing. Lastly, the practice will take advantage of the WRS credentialing service's auto-eligibility in order to check patients for insurance coverage. The practice, which did not have the capabilities to check insurance in the past, will now be able to use this feature to automatically examine the patients in the daily scheduler for eligibility.
